As we gear up for ProMat, we were asking ourselves about what kind of logistics challenges MHI and the event organizers will face with ProMat 2017? It’s not your regular trade show. It’s massive. It’s literally a small town that will emerge and leave Chicago during a week. Take a look at the numbers.

1. Over 900 Exhibitors
2. Peers from 110 countries many representing fortune 1,000 companies and the top 100 retailers.
3. 40,000 manufacturing and supply chain professionals are expected
4. 350,000 square feet of exhibit space
5. More Than 110 Educational Seminars
6. Keynote Sessions
7. MHI Industry Night and several other events

If you are still thinking about it, click here to see a good list of 10 reasons to attend.

We are very excited to be one of the exhibitors at the event this year. It’s going to be a great show. Additionally, in case you haven’t seen this yet, PINC has been nominated MHI Innovation Award finalist with our inventory robotics solution.

The MHI Innovation Award serves to educate and provide valuable insights on the latest manufacturing and supply chain products and services. Companies were called to submit a new product, product line, technology or service or new application of existing products or technology that create quantifiable and sustainable results in terms of ROI, cost savings, customer satisfaction, etc.

“We are very thrilled by this nomination. Nothing excites us more at PINC than working on innovative solutions that provide value to our customers and to the supply chain industry as a whole,” commented Matt Yearling, PINC’s CEO. “Inventory counting and reconciliation are well known challenges at every company I talk to. It’s a great honor to help industry leading organizations overcome this popular problem with our technology.”

On Monday, April 3, 2017, PINC and finalists will present their unique solutions to a panel of judges on the show floor at ProMat 2017. The winners in each category will be announced at ProMat 2017 on April 5 during the MHI Industry Night.

In addition, Matt will be speaking at two different educational sessions about drones in the supply chain.

Session 1: Drones in the supply chain: What’s the big deal about cycle counting?
Monday, April 03 @ 10:45 am  •  Location: Autonomous Vehicle Solutions Theater (North Hall)

Session 2: Drones in the supply chain: It’s not all about delivery.
Tuesday, April 04 @ 3:00 pm  •  Location: Theater C (South Hall)

We wil also be showcasing the latest trends in yard management, finished vehicle logistics solutions, and inventory robotics solutions in our booth #S4478. If you are planning to be in Chicago at ProMat, stop by our booth to say hello or/and learn more about our solutions and how PINC can help you overcome your yard and inventory challenges.

We are looking forward to seeing you there!
